University of Tsukuba Library provides "One Minute Tutorials": a video series offering short, simple, and to the point video tutorials.

They show "How to find a book", "How to renew a book", "How to use remote access service" etc.

Based on the mode of operations of the University of Tsukuba, the operations and services of the library will be changed as follows from November 2.

Opening hours (from Nov. 2(Mon.))

Normal opening hours, except for weekdays 22:00-24:00 of Central Library

Due to scheduled power outages, Some libraries will be closed as follows (Central. Medical and A & P).
And some services are limited from around 17:00, Oct. 29 to around 10:00, Nov.1st (planned). The following services are available as usual.

We have started the journal binding works at Central Library.

• We will pick up journals published mainly in year 2019(Heisei 31 / Reiwa 1).
  *Please remind that some journals can not be available depending on the timing.

When the University of Tsukuba Library does not have the books or journals you need, and you wish to visit the other university's/institution's library to use them, you can request to issue the letter of introduction.(On-campus members only)

The webform has been opened so that you can apply for issuing a letter of introduction without visiting the library.
Please log in to "My Library" and apply from "Request for the Letter of Introduction".

Due to the maintenance, all service of JapanKnowledge (JapanKnowledge Lib, JK select contents, JKBooks) will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience.
