Based on the mode of operations of the University of Tsukuba, the opening hours and services of the library will be changed as follows from October 1.

For the start of the fall semester, opening hours and use of space of the library will be changed as follows from September 14 (Mon.).
Change date: Monday, September 14, 2020
Target: Central Library and Medical Library
Detail:
Due to the maintenance of the library system, some services will be unavailable on the following dates.
Dates:
Tuesday, September 8th–Wednesday, September 9th
* Throughout the two days
All the services has resumed by 10:50 on September 9th.
Unavailable services
Due to the maintenance, all service of JapanKnowledge (JapanKnowledge Lib, JK select contents, JKBooks) will be unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Due to closure of University Offices, University of Tsukuba Library will be closed from August 11 to 14 (at Tokyo campus to 15).
Please note that with closure on Saturday, Sunday and national holidays, the library will be closed on the following days.

Although the Otsuka Library was temporarily closed from July 2nd(Thu.) through July 11th(Sat.) according to "About temporary closing of the Otsuka Library" on July 6th ( https://www.tulips.tsukuba.ac.jp/lib/index.php/en/information/20200706 ), it will be opened from July 14th(Tue.) as follows taking measures to prevent the spread of infection.
