Arriving on Foot
- Exit from the A2 exit of Tsukuba station and turn back in the opposite direction (away from the bus terminal).
- Follow this road until you see the Kasuga Area directly in front of you. There is a crosswalk without traffic light directly in front, so be careful of traffic when crossing the road. (There is a crosswalk with traffic light a short distance to the right.)
- The Library on Library and Information Science is in the building at the front right of the Kasuga Area.
Arriving by Bus
When exiting from the A3 exit of Tsukuba station, the No.6 bus stop will be at the far right. (If you use the elevator, when you get off the elevator next to the A3 exit, the No.6 stop is on the left.) Board a Kanto Railway Co. bus (“Kantetsu Bus”); either Tsukuba Daigaku Junkan, Migi-Mawari (University of Tsukuba Loop, clockwise) route or a bus bound for Tsukuba Daigaku Chuo (University of Tsukuba Central). Arriving by Highway Bus

- Near the Yaesu South gate of Tokyo station, board a highway bus bound for University of Tsukuba (Tsukuba Daigaku) or Tsukuba Center (in Japanese). Get off at the bus stop closest to the library, or at Tsukuba Center (about 65 to 90 minutes, Fare: 1,200 yen)
- Buses are available from Haneda Airport, Narita Airport, Ibaraki Airport, Mito station, Osaka station, and Kyoto station.

Notes
- There is no parking lot for University of Tsukuba Library. Parking on the university campus is limited. Using public transportation when visiting the library is recommended.
- Visitors arriving by car should park in the guest parking area that will be on the left after entering the Kasuga Area. Complete the necessary procedures at the main entrance security office (located at the building with a carriage porch).
