Because of the Year-end and New Year holidays, Loan period for general loan or renewal will be extended as follows.

Emergency Disaster Drill will be held on Nov. 19th, Wednesday at the University of Tsukuba.
Library users are supposed to evacuate to the nearest outdoor evacuation site according to the Library staff's instructions.
During the drill, you cannnot enter the Library.
All of the service counters will be closed until the end of the drill.

Vulnerability in SSL 3.0 could allow information disclosure.
We are planning to invalidate the SSL3.0 protocol on the University Library Web site(TULIPS).

After SSL 3.0 is disabled, you can access the University Library Web site with your PC, tablet, or smartphone.
If you use a kind of mobile phones (feature phones), you will not be able to use the authentication service in the University Library Web site(mobile page).

Loan service hours of the Central Library will be extended as follows from November 1st, Saturday.

・Automatic check out machines equipped on the 2nd floor will be available until 23:30 on weekdays during the Term.
・Loan service will begin at 9:00 on weekends and National holidays.

We may close the libraries or change opening hours depending on the information of lecture cancellation, the issue of heavy rain/severe storm warning, or the status of public transportation.

【About NDL Digital Collections】
The NDL (National Diet Library) Digital Collections enables a user to search and view a variety of resources, collected and stored by the National Diet Library of Japan. Analog materials digitized by the NDL or its partner institutions are available with.
NDL confine our use to only the terminal near the Reference Desk in Central library that have been appointed, therefore it is not able to browse NDL Digital Collections by another terminal.

Study cubicles and Seminar rooms Booking System will be in maintenance at the following time. During the maintenance, you can not book any rooms or change your booking. Thank you for your cooperation.
