For preventive measures against coronavirus disease, usage of University of Tsukuba Library is partly limited.

In Central Library, Main Counter and Reference Desk are joined together to actualize one-stop service.
Considering accessibility, new counter tables also convenient for wheelchair users are introduced. Additionally, Volunteer Counter is moved near the entrance gate to be more accessible.
We will strive to be more user-friendly library for all visitors. We look forward to your continued visit to the Central Library.
The Central Library will be closed from March 16th to 18th for main counter renovation and other works.

Graduating Students in this March 2020 and non-degree students with library cards expiring on March 31 have to return all books by March 31.
Book loan is available until March 31.

Weekdays [Central] Trial to revise the Food & Drink PolicyThe trial is conducted as below in the Central Library so that long-stay users may spend comfortably. Trial period : February 3rd (Mon.), 2020 [Central] Environmental arrangement of Bicycle Parking Lots on the North of Entrance and the East of Cafe (from Apr. 2020)The bicycle parking lots on the north of the entrance and the east of the cafe (indicated below) are to be abolished at the end of March 2020, for the safety of pedestrians (especially visually impaired people and wheelchair users). We sincerely ask you to use the other vacant parking lots.
