At Otsuka Library, the maximum usage time for the soundproof space for one person, the "Web Meeting Booth," which has been available since November 27, 2024, will be extended from 2 hours to 3 hours.
This change reflects the results of user surveys conducted during the trial period.
Please make use of it for classes and meetings that involve speaking.
Terms of Use for Web Meeting Booth
A web meeting booth, a soundproof space for one person, was installed near the counter of Otsuka Library.
We encourage you to utilize these booths for activities such as online classes, web meetings, and research interviews.
Reservations can be made from My Library one week prior to the desired date.

Due to power outage, the extended-hours utilization of Otsuka Library will not be available, during the time duration as below;
*Self-Checkout Machines will not be available from 18:00, July 14(Sun.) to 10:00, July 16(Tue.).

The repair of the compact shelves storing back issues of Japanese magazines has been completed, and they are now available for regular use. Thank you for your cooperation.
Due to a malfunction in the motorized compact shelving storing the back issues of Japanese magazines, Otsuka Library will restrict access to these back issues to staff assistance hours only for the time being.
If you wish to use Japanese magazines from last year or earlier, please contact the Otsuka Library counter during the following hours.
