The 39th Tsukuba Marathon will be held on November 24, 2019 (Sun.).
The traffic on the roads surrounding the university will be regulated from 6:30 to 16:30 on the day of the marathon.

On September 17th (Tue), University of Tsukuba Library exchanged a memorandum with the National Diet Library regarding the provision of “data and meta-data for the visually impaired people, etc.”. Diversity Support Section, Academic Support Division, University of Tsukuba Library and the Diversity Accessibility Career Center have started providing text data such as textbooks produced in collaboration.

The above data is now available on the “Materials search for persons with disabilities”, in “National Diet Library Search” provided by the National Diet Library.

Emergency Disaster Drill will be held on from 11:25 to 11:50, Nov. 15th, Friday at the University of Tsukuba.
Library users are supposed to evacuate to the nearest outdoor evacuation site according to the Library staff's instructions.
During the drill, you cannnot enter the Library.
All of the service counters will be closed until the end of the drill.

　We conducted a survey on databases which are purchased with Library budget from July 12 to August 9, 2019. The targeted persons of this survey are faculty　members and students of University of Tsukuba, and we got 457 answers. We appreciate your cooperation.

Following databases were added to the library e-resource collection.

You can access those databases from a PC connected to the campus network.
Members of University of Tsukuba can use remote access service (Tulips Wrap).

We will hold a briefing session on the global standard academic researcher identification ID "ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID)", explaining its outline and utilization policy, and operational status at University of Tsukuba.
