We are recruiting graduate students to work as Learning Adviser at the Central Library for 2026.
All applicants for Learning Adviser positions must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese.

Due to the maintenance of the network, some library services will be unavailable as follows.

Due to the admission examination, some libraries will be closed on Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18.
Closed libraries:
Otsuka Library will remain open as usual.

Due to Tsukuba Marathon, some libraries will be closed on Sunday, November 23.
The following libraries will be closed: Central, A&PE, Medical and LIS Library.
Otsuka Library will remain open as usual.

Wireless LAN (utwlan-w) in the library may be unstable due to maintenance as follows.
・Date and time：Tuesday, November 25, 2025, 11:25 am to 12:15 pm
・Scope of Impact：The on-campus Wireless LAN System may be unstable, and reauthentication may be required again.
If utwlan-w is unavailable, you can use the wireless LAN by connecting to the trial service utwlan-x.

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the University of Tsukuba Digital Collections was renewed.

The University of Tsukuba Digital Collections is a website where users can search and access images of rare materials held by the University of Tsukuba.
This website was launched in March 2024 and supports IIIF (International Image Interoperability Framework), a widely used international framework for sharing images.
Wednesday, October 29, 2025, New features have been added to the top page of the University of Tsukuba Library website.

The top left of the top page randomly displays images of materials selected from the University of Tsukuba Digital Collections.
Clicking an image will take you to the detail page of the item in the University of Tsukuba Digital Collections.
We will conduct emergency maintenance on the library PCs at the following date and time.
During this period, internet browsers on the library PCs will be unavailable.
*Zengaku Computer System will remain available as usual.
