The University of Tsukuba library Volunteer Program will celebrate its 30th anniversary in June 2025.

The University of Tsukuba Library introduced the "University Library Volunteer" program in 1995 to provide opportunities for those wishing to participate in volunteer activities in the local community.
For the past 30 years, library volunteers have voluntarily offered their knowledge and skills free of charge to assist users as part of their lifelong learning.

Various events will be held to mark the 30th anniversary in June 2025.

Exhibition "Ask LA about student life - University of Tsukuba Start Dash."（Revival）

The exhibition "Ask LA about student life - University of Tsukuba Start Dash." presented by Learning Advisers (LA) of Student Support Desk is held now in the Central Library.
★Due to popular demand, we have reopened our exhibition that was originally held 2024!

This exhibition introduces the most frequently asked questions and consultations at the Student Support Desk, as well as useful information on student life at the University, in a Q & A format.
When you come in the Central Library, please drop in.

Free Ebook Trial Service (May 1-August 31)

In order to support teaching and learning, we provide an eBook trial service.
For the first time in 2025, KinoDen, provided by Kinokuniya Bookstore, will be available for a limited time.

You can try any part of the eBooks from the following eBook platforms for free for five minutes per title. You may also submit a purchase request to the library.
Titles that have been viewed or requested a lot will be considered for purchase by the library. 

Please take this opportunity to try out the eBooks, which are convenient for study and research at home.

Wired LAN maintenance (Apr. 28, 11:30 am to 12:15 pm)

The wired LAN (Zengaku Information Outlet Network System) in the library will be unavailable due to maintenance during the following hours. 

・Date and time：Monday, April 28, 2025, 11:30 am to 12:15 pm
・Target：Wired LAN in the study cubicles of the Central Library, the seminar rooms of the Medical Library, and the seminar rooms of the Library on Library and Information Science
・Scope of Impact：The wired LAN will be out of service for about 1 minute during the work period.
