Please apply for a library card to borrow books.
When you want to check out materials, please present your library card
at the Main Counter.
icon Loan periods and limits on the number of books
Graduate Students and Staff -- 20 books for up to 4 weeks
Undergraduate Students ------- 10 books for up to 3 weeks
Other registered clients -------- 5 books for up to 3 weeks

icon Returning
Please return borrowed books at the Main Counter.
When the library is closed, books may be left in the retun box by the entrance.
Please return books by the due date. You can not check out books until overdue books have been returned.
icon Renew
Renewals may be made by presenting the book at a Main Counter, providing that the book has not been requested by another reader. Overdue books may not be renewed.
icon Book Reservations
Books on loan may be reserved by request at the Main Counter.
icon How to find books
Books are arranged in subject groups (by Nippon Decimal Classification)
according to the call-mark printed on the spine.
icon How to find periodical
Periodicals are shelved as follows:
Current Periodicals and Back Issues shelved by title as follows:
Japanese ---------- Japanese Syllabary Order
Western language -- Alphabetical Order
icon Online Public Access Catalog ( OPAC )
Books and most periodicals may be found using computer terminals.
It is possible to search by author, title or subject.
There are 5 Online Public Access Catalog ( OPAC ) terminals in the Library.
Please ask a member of staff if you require assistance using the terminals.
icon Copy Services
To obtain copies of library materials, please fill out a copy request form at the Main Counter.
Copies must be for the purpose of examination and study
in accordance with copyright law.
If you have any problems in using the library, please do not hesitate
to ask the library staff at the Main Counter.
