What's JSPS Gakushin DC. ?
The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) will accept those who are (will be) in doctoral courses of Japanese graduate schools, have excellent research capability and wish to devote themselves to research in the relevant universities as “Research Fellowships for Young Scientists-DC,” and provide them with research grants.
Monthly stipend is \200,000 and research grant is up to ￥1.5 million/year. No nationality requirement for DC applications.
