Emergency Disaster Drill will be held on Nov. 18th, Friday at the University of Tsukuba.
Library users are supposed to evacuate to the nearest outdoor evacuation site according to the Library staff's instructions.
During the drill, you cannnot enter the Library.
All of the service counters will be closed until the end of the drill.
Quite powerful typhoon No.10 has been heading to Kanto region.
Thus, We've just decided to close libraries at Tsukuba campus on August 30th.

Due to power outage, the Library in Tsukuba Campus will be closed as follows.
Also, the loan hours on October 24, Friday will be shortened because of the closure.
You cannot access the Library homepage from Oct. 24th 17 pm. to 27th 9 am.
During this period, you cannot use OPAC, My Library, Study cubicle and seminar room booking system.

Powerful typhoon No.8 has been heading toward the largest island in Japan (Honshu), and is expected to bring heavy rain and causes cancellation of public transportation in Kanto region (See “Typhoon Information” as indicated below).
Thus, the University of Tsukuba Library has just decided that Libraries extraordinary closed at Tsukuba Campus and Tokyo Campus as we mentioned below .
