National Diet Library Japanese Periodicals Index

Outline

  • It is possible to search the articles from about 16,000 magazines included in the periodical index database of National Diet Library. You can search mainly academic journals published in Japan.
  • Articles published in and after 1948 can be searched. From 1948 through 1964, only humanities and social sciences articles are available.
  • The search can be made from a search or by application of the periodical article index.
  • If you register a user ID for the National Diet Library, you can make use of services like the copy service for individuals.
