CD-Mainichi Newspaper

■In-library service ONLY
This service is only available from the specified PCs in Central Library, Art and Physical Education Library, Medical Library, Library on Library and Information Science, and Otsuka Library.

Editions of the Mainichi Shimbun from 1991 through 2002 can be searched and displayed. (This service is only available from specific PCs within the library network.)

Supports only 1 user at a time.
Since there can only be one user at a time, please refrain from using the system for extended periods of time. As soon as you have finished, please close the search program.

For additional information and notes about use, refer to the pamphlet attached to the PC or "Using CD-Mainichi Newspaper."

■Designated PCs

The PCs that can be used have a sticker indicating “朝日・毎日・読売新聞利用可” (Asahi / Mainichi / Yomiuri Newspaper Access OK).

Central Library

Otsuka Library

■Use Method

From the start menu, select “毎日新聞”(Mainichi Newspaper).
※Search results cannot be printed from the search window. Save the results to a USB memory, and print the saved data at another time.
  It is possible to perform printing from the same terminal used for the search. Start Microsoft Word, open the saved data and execute print.

■Important Use Notes

  • Be careful to avoid copyright infringement when using this data.
  • Printing is not permitted.
  • If there is another user, an error message may be displayed, and it may not be possible to complete the search.In such a case, please try the search again after waiting for a little while. Please do not occupy the system for long periods of time.
  • The “検索条件の保存” (Save search conditions) function cannot be used.
